The coastlines and landscapes of both New Zealand and Australia served as a creative catalyst, guiding my focus toward native flora and fauna symbolic of each country. The tūī and kōwhai, eastern whipbird, flowering gum, and black wattle quietly echo across the collection, reflecting a shared sense of belonging across two places with deeply intertwined identities. Hints of red and yellow ochre recall shifting landscapes at different times of day, while layered blues and greens reference ancient forests, glacial country, and coastal horizons.

Across the Ditch - The hero design of the collection brings together layered foliage, native birdlife, and painterly atmospheric textures inspired by both New Zealand and Australian landscapes.
